LICENSE INFO
The application deadline for Montana big game outfitter sponsored and general draw hunting licenses is March 15th.
The outfitter sponsored licenses are guaranteed for clients who hunt with outfitters.
Royal Tine Outfitters will send the license applications to clients around the middle of January.
This paperwork will be sent to clients who have already reserved their hunt with the required 50% deposit.

2008 LICENSE FEES These fees are set by the Montana Fish and Game. Costs for guaranteed Montana hunting licenses are as follows:
Elk/Deer combo - $1500
Elk only - $1400

Montana general draw license usually takes one preference point to draw, in other words; you will draw about every other year.
We are not offering any drop or semi-guided camps for 2008
2008 GUIDED HUNT DATES AND PRICES
The deposit required on all hunts is 50% of hunt price. This amount is applied towards the hunt of your choice,
with the balance due in the form of cashier's check or personal check 30 days prior to your hunt start date unless other arrangements have been made.
Our policy for deposits is that all monies paid are non-refundable, and are considered as partial payment for the services of
reserving time and space on the schedule and advance preparation of equipment and supplies.
We recommend that you obtain trip cancellation insurance
to protect against any unforeseen circumstances that might cause cancellation of your trip or hunt.
Note on gratuities ........ standard rule of thumb is 10% of hunt price, unless you (the hunter) feels otherwise.
Backcountry Archery hunts:
September 6 - 11(opening week)...one opening
September 13 - 18...2 openings
September 20 - 25...FULL
October 4 - 9...FULL
Price is $3400 per person. 1 hunter per 1 guide. Non-hunters are welcome at $150/day.
These are 6 day hunts with a 1/2 day of travel on the first and last days. 5 nights will be spent in camp.
There will only be 2 hunters in camp at a time.
These hunts include lodging and food once at camp, and a professional hunting guide.
Transportation to and from the airport is not included, but can be arranged for $100 round trip.
License fees, gratuities, taxidermy fees, and meat processing fees are not included in the price of this hunt.
Backcountry Rifle hunts:
October 26 - 31...FULL
November 2 - 7...FULL
November 9 - 14
Price is $3000 per person. 2 hunters per 1 guide. Non-hunters are welcome at $150/day.
These are 6 day hunts with a 1/2 day of travel on the first and last days. 5 nights will be spent in camp.
There will only be 2 hunters in camp at a time.
These hunts include lodging and food once at camp, and professional hunting guides.

Price is $4500 per person. 2 hunters per 1 guide. Non-hunters are welcome at $150/day. These are full 6 day hunts.
Private Land Rifle hunts:
October 26 - 31 (opening week)...FULL
November 12 - 17...4 openings
Price is $5500 per person. 2 hunters per 1 guide. There will be 4-6 hunters per week. Non-hunters are welcome at $150/day. These are full 6 day hunts.
PLEASE NOTE: Guided private land hunts include transportation to and from the Missoula, MT (MSO) airport, and professional elk hunting guides.
Accomodations are a 5 bedroom, spacious 5,000 sq. ft. lodge. You'll love the excellent home-cooked meals and relaxing atmosphere.
License fees, taxidermy fees, meat processing fees and gratuities are not included in the price of the hunts.
The hunter is responsible for all of his or her own clothing, firearms or archery equipment, and personal belongings.
The hunter must also obey all Montana hunting laws and regulations, and all instructions of the outfitter. This is for your safety as well as ours.

Optional Services
Royal Tine recommends the following businesses for your meat processing and taxidermy needs.
Mark Hill of Ridgeline Taxidermy (406)859-5274. Mark charges the following: elk shoulder mount $600 ($75 extra for bugle mount), $110/ft for bear rugs, $400 for deer shoulder mount.
15% of price is added for crating and mounts are shipped freight collect.
Cathy and Nolan Smith of C & N Meats (406)859-0103. They charge $.40/lb to cut and wrap an elk.
Fresh sausage is $1.75/lb. Smoked sausage is $2/lb. Jerky is $15/lb.

Price is $900/person for a 6 day trip. We can custom plan trips for you @ $150/day.
There is a 50% deposit and balance will be due 30 days prior to trip start date.
Price includes transportation to and from the Missoula, MT(mso) airport.
We will provide you with an equipment list to use as a guideline in making final plans for your trip.
Please note: We can accommodate up to 6 people maximum per trip and there is a 2 person minimum per trip.
Our insurance policy does not allow us to accomodate any children less than 10 years old.
